Q: What is the role of Silymarin in this formulation?

A: Silymarin is a hepatoprotective herbal extract from Milk Thistle, used to support and regenerate liver tissue. It helps minimize liver damage during deworming treatments, especially fluke infestations.

Q: Does this product treat immature liver flukes?

A: No. Oxyclozanide is effective primarily against mature flukes. For immature flukes, a different agent like Triclabendazole may be more appropriate.

Q: Can this be used in pregnant animals?

A: Caution is advised during late pregnancy. Always consult a veterinarian before administration.

Q: Is this safe for young calves, lambs, or kids?

A: Use only under the guidance of a veterinarian and after weighing. Adjust dose appropriately.

Q: How often should this product be given?

A: Typically once per treatment cycle. Repeat only if parasitic load or recurrence is diagnosed.

Q: Is this effective against tapeworms or protozoa?

A: No. This product does not act against cestodes (tapeworms) or protozoa (like coccidia). Use appropriate agents for those infections.

Q: What if my animal vomits or spills the dose?

A: Re-administer the full dose only if you are certain the full amount was not ingested. Contact your veterinarian if unsure.
