Ceftriaxone Sodium is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with broad-spectrum bactericidal activity. This veterinary formulation is provided as a dry powder to be reconstituted with sterile water prior to injection, offering a stable and effective treatment for a variety of bacterial infections in animals.

•  Ceftriaxone Sodium U.S.P. equivalent to Ceftriaxone: 3 gm or 4 gm

•  Sterile Water for Injection: Provided free for reconstitution

•  Excipients: Suitable stabilizers and buffers (q.s.)

•  Veterinary Injectable Antibiotic

•  Third-generation Cephalosporin

Used for the treatment of:

•  Respiratory tract infections

•  Urinary tract infections

•  Skin and soft tissue infections

•  Septicaemia

•  Bone and joint infections

•  Other bacterial infections susceptible to ceftriaxone

•  Intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection as prescribed by a veterinarian

•  Reconstitute powder with the supplied sterile water before administration

•  Dosage depends on animal species, weight, and severity of infection

•  Typical dose: 10-20 mg/kg body weight every 12-24 hours, or as directed by veterinarian

•  Reconstitute immediately before use using aseptic technique

•  Use reconstituted solution within 24 hours

•  Broad-spectrum activity including many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria

•  Resistant to many beta-lactamases

•  Long half-life allowing once or twice daily dosing

•  Stable dry powder form for better shelf life
