Sulphadimidine Sodium (also known as Sulfamethazine Sodium) is a synthetic sulphonamide antibacterial agent. It acts by inhibiting bacterial synthesis of folic acid, thus exhibiting a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic effect against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. This injectable formulation contains 1gm of Sulphadimidine Sodium per dose, widely used in veterinary medicine to treat bacterial infections.
